Hi, I’m Teddy — a 19-year-old, Non-binary, candle maker and the founder of Bind & Drip, a small New Zealand-based business created by and for the kink, BDSM and LGBTQIA+ community, or anyone who simply wants a candle.

As someone proudly part of this space, I noticed a frustrating lack of accessible, high-quality gear for specific practices like wax play . Most of what was available locally was either imported at high prices, not beginner-friendly, or didn’t reflect the care and nuance these forms of expression deserve.

That’s why I started Bind & Drip — to fill that gap with intention, integrity, and the community in mind.

At its core, Bind & Drip is more than just a gear shop. It’s about creating a space where curiosity is welcome, identities are respected, and kinks are supported. Whether you’re exploring wax play for the first time or refining your rope skills, you deserve tools and products that are safe, sensual, and made with purpose.

As a queer-owned and queer-led business, inclusion is built into everything we do — from the materials we source to how we engage with our customers. This is a space for everyone beneath the surface — where passion, identity, and play intersect.

Our Candles are handmade by myself. We only use Soy wax (which has a low melting temperature) & natural products to create a safe candle for customers' to use.
